What are those inserts you are using?

if i'm not wrong the f3-x is perfect for one body mounted with the lens

looks good for those shooting casual and light

if is body with lens attached (no those 70-200 f2.8)...u can use F5Xb, a nice little bags..

I share ur sentiment bro...found myself in the same "bag situation":embrass: a few years back.

Hi Hitman,

Feb 04: Small canon camera bag which I bought with my 300D
Jan 05: Crumpler (Canon edition - promotion of free crumpler bag with lens purchase).
Dec 05: Kata R-103
Nov 06: Crumpler 7mdh
July 08: Domke F-6 and Thinktank Speed racer
Oct 08: Billingham Hadley Large
Dec 08: Lowepro Toploader 70 AW, Lowepro Toploader 75 AW

If you want to get rid of any of them, let me know. I have a Sony Alpha 350, 18-250mm lens, maybe another lens latter, external flash and CPL that might fit into any of them.

hitman, u are not the worst, I got my 6 bag for just 2 years. I think none of them is more 1 year old. and havnt include those I sold away and give away. haha

Lowepro Flipside 400 AW
Foto File pro bag,
KATA SB907
Olympus Camera Bag,
Think Tank Digital Holster 40
Think Tank Urban Disguise 35

I think I will buy more if I see something i like. :bsmilie:

now I got my no. 7 bag!!! my most expensive bag of all collection. Billingham Packington...

wonderful bag...

my thinktank UD40 just walked with me in the rain..and the raindrops did not even penetrate the top layer of fabric.

I had a number of bags too but recently changed to using pelican case. Better protection, carry more gears and reduce quite a bit of backaches. Just that when going up stairs....

where to buy those insert anyway ?
I think I prefer to get my own bag and use all the inserts..

when i go travel, i use the free canon bag and a lowepro lens case as inserts in my small timbuk2 to put the following:

1 x pana HS-TM200
1 x 40d w strap
1 x 18-270mm
1 x 50mm 1.8
cleaning kit, spare batts n CF cards, instruction manuals (coz newbie lah)

for tomorrow's zoo excursion, i'm using my diy insert in my $4 army slingbag to put the following:
1 x 40d w strap
1 x 18-270mm
cleaning kit, spare batts n CF cards
1st aid kit (u noe kids lah), swiss knife, maglite, lighter, whistle, disposable poncho....
oh. before i forget.... a plastic bag to waterproof bag in case rain

I will usually carry this along with me to the location but will leave some of my gear in the hotel room when I head out as I would plan roughly what I'll be taking ... so it'll typically be lighter than this. But recently, I've just went to Bukit Timah Hill, trek with it a little, and I find the shoulder straps really comfy, and it's got those buckles that tied the bag to the waist and chest, so that you could 'RUN' with the bag.

Check this youtube video and you'll know what I mean ...

Btw, the flash unit is actually placed in the upper portion of the bag. I also have my Pentax K-M (2nd body) in it.

Just to know how the stuff, in my previous picture, fits into the bag ...

Bro...where can i get it and how much????

Bro...where can i get it and how much????

I got it at K13 (Peninsula) cos' that's the only place that offered the camouflage edition. If you are not in a hurry, call TK Foto (Beach Road) and place an order (need deposit). TK usually gives a much better price. It's price? 95 < new bag < 110 would be reasonable.

Walked past a camera shop on yesterday, and they have a Lowepro Primus AW for sale!! Stepped in, played with the bag for a while and the rest, like they say, was history.... I'm HKD990 (about S$190) poorer but now have my 8th camera bag... Man, I feel like a woman! ;)

I'm slowly catching up with my wife.... she got 11 bags of different brands and sizes... :sticktong

When I return to Singapore the next round, I'll be selling the bags that I do not need... to recover a little bit of my investment... :embrass:
