OFFICIAL: CANON EOS 6D - User Thread - Part 3

Good to hear that bro. Main advantage is that both can share lenses and 1 of the body is quite small. Would have consider the M if not for the slow AF... hmmm

Actually the af of eos m had improved quite a lot after the latest firmware update.

I paired it with my 6D when I go for job n travel. :)

Post a few samples to demo?

Should install and find out. Anyway the software is installed on the SD card and the software piggy backs on canon's software.
Dual ISO is interesting because it captures 2 iso settings at the same time.

looking for a Yongnuo flash to use with the 6D. Any recommendations?
I am looking for a basic TTL flash only. Thanks.

Just get the YN568 EX either mk I or II. The mk II is almost identical to the mk I version other than the wireless master feature.

I went to shoot for my cousin's wedding on Saturday. Image quality is godly. Anyway just to give a heads up, be careful when u use the 6D (with flash and heavy lens) with button shirt. The base of my camera got scratched probably due to weight resting on my body. The serial number sticker was streaked with depression lines and some of the rough matte coating got scratched off. Very Heart pain :(

Isn't this like bracketing or HDR effect?

you are using the normal strap that hangs the camera in front of your chest?

Put on a battery grip to balance the front heavy problem?

No amount of weighing down will help, ultimately it will break your neck.

It's physics, adding weight at the pivot won't help much, if it helps at all.

Unless you use a black rapid strap off the tripod collar, I don't see how using a battery grip will balance it on the canon strap.

Unless you're holding it, adding a battery grip won't help. It shouldn't be a problem with the 6d anyway, the 6d should be heavy enough to balance a 70-200 f4l when you're hand holding it.

From my understanding from some of review, think it can only connect to eg your hp/tablets etc using wifi? Need an apps in ur hp to connect.
Then only able to upload to fb from your phone.

Install the app "EOS Remote" on your smartphone to view & transfer selected photos over to upload to FB. The app can also be used to release the camera's shutter remotely.

With the eosremote app, u don't need a wifi network to tether the camera to ur device.. The 6d is able to create it's adhoc network & just connect ur iPhone/iPad/I touch to the wifi network created!

Hi guys im planning to buy 6d any recommended shop? Thanks

Can use the image gateway option. But I've not tried it.

I use the EOS remote app to connect to my phone, download the pictures I want there, then upload to FB or send on whatsapp. I mostly use it for fun though, don't use it for batch uploading because there is no PP and the picture is tiny.
