That I can't answer..I know most grips they would use some form of double sided sticky take..even the original..it's strong but after awhile due to heat n wear I don't think it will last..I know alot Get vertex?

Hi. Anyone knows where is the cheapest 6d to get now? So far i see artworkfoto at 2099. I am looking at the grey sets for the price diff.

Is the 24-105 f4 kit lens good enough? Or is there a third party lens which performs better and sharper? Like Sigma or Tamron?

I have that kit but use the Canon 50 f/1.4 lens 90% of the time.

it's good enough for my needs now. Saving up for a 50mm f1.4 and Sigma 35mm f1.4 and most probably a 70-200.

I own the 6d and 24-105. Personally I think it is a good lens. If there is somethg tat I have to pick about this lens, it would b the f4 tat I dun really like. In low light, u really have push the ISO up. Otherwise I would tink this lens is quite a walk around lens. Unless u need the f2.8, u can consider the highly recommended cheaper tamron. Alternatively, if u are rich, get canon 24-70 f2.8

Anyone using 6D with Speedlite 600EX RT? I just got the 600EX RT over the weekend and realized that I was not able to set it to ETTL Auto zoom mode. No problem selecting the Manual zoom mode. Is that normal?

I checked 6D is an ETTL II Autoflash DSLR and should be compatible with 600EX RT.

You're the man! Thank you so much! I gave it a try and immediately saw the difference. The Auto mode and compatibility sign appears! Even Canon cannot give me answer off hand when I called them. It it not mentioned in the Manual booklet as well. I am glad that you have cleared my doubts.

Zooming won't work unless the speedlite is in direct flash 'mode' as ETTL won't accurately give the correct output required.

That's how I understand it, do correct me if I'm wrong.

Just like to know if you have encounter this problem....

When I review my picture, and looking at the picture after I have taken it, I can zoom in the picture.

But if I want to jump to next picture when it is zoom in, I cannot. I need to come out to normal display, turn to the next image, andzoom in, then, I can jump image while in zoom in mode....

I hope you understand what is my problem... is this a common 6D issues??? :think:

Also, my exposure is jumpy... in the same scene, the camera can under expose or over expose...... even my setting did not change much...

To jump to the next image in the zoom state, just turn the rear dial.

I have no inconsistent exposure issue with the 6D.

That's the problem I encountered. I could not jump to next image from zoom state directly.... I need to zoom out and jump to net image then zoom, then I can go next image...

Mmm.... need a check up I suppose.... lucky still under warranty....

What metering method are u using?

I was using Evaluative Metering.... I was using a ZE 50mm f1.4..... There was a tungsten lamp inside... :think:
