Which 3rd party grip is recommended? As in which brand has lower fail rate so far?
did you check DDelectronics or technogadgets for grey sets
Question for 6D owners. Is the 24-105 f4 kit lens good enough? Or is there a third party lens which performs better and sharper? Like Sigma or Tamron?

Yamoto said:Anyone using 6D with Speedlite 600EX RT? I just got the 600EX RT over the weekend and realized that I was not able to set it to ETTL Auto zoom mode. No problem selecting the Manual zoom mode. Is that normal?
I checked 6D is an ETTL II Autoflash DSLR and should be compatible with 600EX RT.
U point the flash head up or 90 degree forward? If point head up, no auto zoom
Zooming won't work unless the speedlite is in direct flash 'mode' as ETTL won't accurately give the correct output required. You're the man! Thank you so much! I gave it a try and immediately saw the difference. The Auto mode and compatibility sign appears! Even Canon cannot give me answer off hand when I called them. It it not mentioned in the Manual booklet as well. I am glad that you have cleared my doubts.
Btw, this my fist time using a speedlite, mind explaining why it works this way?
Hi fellow 6D users
But if I want to jump to next picture when it is zoom in, I cannot. I need to come out to normal display, turn to the next image, andzoom in, then, I can jump image while in zoom in mode....
Also, my exposure is jumpy... in the same scene, the camera can under expose or over expose...... even my setting did not change much...

To jump to the next image in the zoom state, just turn the rear dial.
I have no inconsistent exposure issue with the 6D.
What metering method are u using?
