If below $2k for body only, it is really good price! I think is justifiable if go grey set with $400 saving.

I think so too especially if the shop is reliable.

lowest local set price is $2499 from cathay.. i checked yday.. so it is $500 savings..

someone said OP sells grey also, i thought they used to but stopped.. it is good they selling grey.. we need competition in grey also.. haha

off topic a little but when i use my 6d with my brother's sigma 50 1.4, i realised that it front focuses quite a lot for distances within around 2m (+10 correction needed) but for further subjects, its perfectly in focus. Now i thought that it was probably due to the deeper DOF for longer distances but i realise if i left it at +10 then it becomes quite OOF for distances beyond 2m.

Does anybody know why does it behave so strangely? Cant calibrate the lens cus its already calibrated to my brother's body (i'm just a occasional user of the lens)

Hi,
I am looking for lowest speed of memory card that can support the full HD video recording without too much lag.

Any recommendation?

TIA

Do you have a tight budget ?
Sd cards are not expensive compared to cf

Generally the quicker the speed the higher its tolerance as if I'm not wrong they all come from the same wafer during production

Hi just like to ask the guys here. I have this issue with my 6d. I find that all my raw images seems to be rather lacking in saturation. I have tried to boost the saturation levels using the picture styles. But I do not seem to detect any difference. Is it a known issue or am I missing something ?

All RAW files are supposed to look dull, soft and washed out. When using RAW one is assumed to use some form of post processing to achieve the required results.

Otherwise, shoot in JPEG.

RAW files are not affected by pictures styles. You'll have to post-process the RAW file to boost the saturation.

RAW files are like raw meat. They have to be cooked and seasoned to taste good. In the world of photography, this is called post processing.

When picture styles are used, they will only affect JPG's. JPG photos are 'cooked' inside the camera. They come out processed and you can see the end result on your LCD.

Aaaaa now I understand. Sorry for the noob question. Thanks a lot for the info.

Just check today... Artworkfoto is selling at 2099 with cash payment and cathay at 2499 :)

Yup I bought mine at Artworkfoto this afternoon. Added in a Sandisk Extreme 32gb 80mb/s SD card and a original battery. Total cost is $2,364.96 after 4% CC.

Do note the price is grey set imported from Europe.

Wise choice. A good saving of about $400. Pricing in Singapore nowadays is way too high.

I know I can get better prices from other shops like I always do just to save a few bucks. But for convenience sometimes just close an eye if the difference is a few dollars. Money can always earn back.

I am enjoying my 6D more and more these days. I hope the 6D together with 70D will last me all the way to 2020 and beyond... :bsmilie:. After all, I use each laptop for 5 years before replacement.
