Does anyone know if the Canon tripod is handy in which I should register my warranty to redeem? I'm thinking of "prolonging" my warranty and thus not registering as yet. Any suggestions on this?![]()
hi all, is the tripod automically redeemed when you registered the camera for its warranty? i cant find a separate section to redeem the tripod on the webdite...

You will prob sacrifice on the image quality.
But if you intend to take portraits shots, a good lens to start with prob would be the inexpensive 50mm f1.8.
Do take time to read up some reviews, there are sites as follows.

Get something that suits your need, buying the wrong len may end up missing on shots you wanted (e.g travelling and find out your len cant zoom far enough etc) and costly to sell and buy new lens.
