yup. that guy who can't stop critisizing me for being such a dumb person to even consider KM for my DSLR system. today sat on bus with him, non-stop blabbering away, like "minolta is dead!", "dun spend too much, you will be changing system!", "minolta photo quality sucks!", and believe or not, he said this to me last time:"the photog pres in rjc also have the 7D. he said he regreted buying it and claimed that it is bad, so dun follow his footsteps!".

why? want to spark a debate on which system is better is it? better not. this debate wen t on in my mind for like more than a year liao. some of you might still rememeber me posting threads on "what you hate about 7D" and "what you hate about 20D" during the start of the year. so hard to believe, after all this time of deciding and begging(to my father), after 1-2 long years, the 7D is actually in my hands now. so happy. ...wait....., 7D not in my hands, still at sony:bsmilie:

the canon and nikon users i known of also had their own in-house prob that is best left unsaid...:nono: it just that i wouldn't be surprise if the Km user not frustrated with the d7d...slow/af accuracy hunting in less than ideal condition when it came to sport and low light shooting

why let him spoil your day? let's not go down to their level and argue with them.

or maybe u wireless'd your 5600hs then keep pointing the wireless 5600hs flash towards him and press the AEL button to fire test the wireless flash. disturb him haha(just kidding..that's too childish lol)

YEAH BLOODY RIGHT lol. I met him during the guitar concert last year. I didn't have any f/2.8 lenses then so I was lamenting the lack of them while he went to -machine-gun- group shots with his 35/1.4 @ 1.4. Until I told him about the horrendous DoF at that aperture setting.

I've never regretted buying the 7D nor have I at any time claimed that it was bad. True, I'm impressed with his 1D, with all the shooting speed and stuff, but i've never been dissatisfied with my 7D. With its stabiliser, its helped me get many shots I would otherwise have lost to handshake. Its viewfinder is as big as the 1D's and the manual controls allow me to operate it faster than the 1D with its interlocking controls.

Yea the C-AF is abit of a bother, but with the 135/2.8 the problem is largely resolved.

Ah well.. live and let live =)

This dude is crazy. I mean hey, a Canon 1D is a professional camera. I really doubt he have ever touched the lower end Canon dSLRs or the EOS 500N. Yes EOS 500N. AF speed of Dynax 7000i and EOS 500N. Years difference! :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

"clubsnap all noobs. you will be making the wrong choice to trust them. i am more experienced, you should be asking me not them.". sigh,...kind of sad when pp take photography into some kind of showing off competition of equipment and "skill"(notice the inverted brackets). but he's my boss, have to listen to him.:sticktong. me lower down by one rank.:bsmilie:
