Nikon User D700 Kopi Session - 25 Jul Fri - BK Millennia Walk

Okie, I will get at least a D3 there for comparison.

Apart from the D700 I try to see if there are D3 and D300 available for members to compare.

Just note, as I have mentioned before, the D700 release is not a replacement for the D300 or the D3. It is part of a new line up of DSLR which Nikon is offering to the consumers and Pros giving everyone more choices for their specific needs.

Note: More choices are coming before year-end across the entire compact, consumer DSLR and the top of the range Pro series DSLR. More exciting stuff for 4th quarter of 2008 :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I hope for a D80 replacement with D300 high ISO capability + the 3 incher .

Though I could not make it for the session, I really appreciate your effort in making this session available to people like me who want to obtain more hands on experience with expensive new products like the D700 in such a casual occasion. Thanks for sharing this valuable untold product roadmap information. It helps many of us in making more informed decision in our new purchase and upgrade plan. Looks like I will have to hold my D80 upgrade for another while.

Thanks but I have forgotten to put a disclaimer. These are all my own pure speculations, rumors and predictions etc etc gathered from the various sources in the internet without any inside info and has nothing to do with any real or official roadmap that Nikon has. :sweat::sweat: ;p

I don't think your wait will be in vain and you will not be disappointed. Unlike some others, Nikon do not have the habit of just tweaking some small enhancements, called it another new sounding model and try to market it to the consumers. ;p ;p

Directions To Millennia Walk's Burger King

MRT:
Alight at City Hall MRT
Walk through City Link
Exit City Link from opposite the shop PRINTS
Proceed to Marina Square and walk straight all the way cutting the atrium, pass by all the fast food restaurants, Cathay Photo and then exit. You'll see a fruit stall outside. Continue walking after the renovating Kenko. When u see Millennia Walk...go straight down the escalator... Burger King is only 10m away from the Escalator.


Driving: Parking

Coming from everywhere will get ERP unless you are in the area already.
If possible car-pool and save some dough to buy new camera, lens or flash.
Below are the parking rates at the nearest 3 places.

Millennia Walk:
$1.07 per 1/2hr from 7am to 6pm
$1.07 for 1st 2hrs, $1.07 for next subsequent hr from 6pm to 12midnight

Suntec City:
7.00 am - 5.00 pm $1.07 per ½ hour or part thereof
5.00 pm - 12.00 midnight $2.14 flat per entry

Marina Sq:
7am - 5pm : First ½hour $1.07, $1.07 for subsequent hour or part thereof
5pm - 2am : $2.14 per entry
