[ New Gear ] Panasonic announces the GH3 (with images and FULL press release)


Agreed with you Agrivar. Practically, upgrade lens first BUT the GH3 new features are so nice its hard to resist....
 

I am developing a new itch...
 

I thought to cure the FF itch, I come over to M43 to find the cure and was almost cured but now this GH3.... using same lens as EM5, bigger body, more buttons, DSLR like.... kao....

Instead of two high end m43 bodies you could have bought a nice FF body. ;)

I could have... but then too big, lazy to bring out, become white elephant.... :embrass:.... so M43 got its use lar.... even if I do get DSLR, will keep the M43.... though dont shoot video, but this GH3 might just change it... dont know... :dunno:

I got the OMD because it delivered nicer colors, lower noise and IBIS compared to my GH2 but I don't see a reason to update to the GH3 now. I would get again the Panasonic colors and loose IBIS.

The previous Pana PNS camera I always find green tint to the pic i produce... dot know about the GH series though....

Panny fixed their jpg engine. Much better now. But no issue if shoot raw

It kind of cure my itch for a FF.... by then it give me another type of itch.... :embrass::sweat:

To those Bro who has it..... is the so call AI servo faster than say the OMD????
 

Hopefully someone will organise a "molestation session" when the m4/3 guys meet.

price is good at $1445 for body only....
but the size seems a little too big for me.....
hope panny will release a new G series minus the GH3 video features and strip down the size and price....
