Spoken like a true Canon user that you are... so condescending... :think:
While the dark colors, including red, white will fit black lens but I doubt I will go too deep into Pentax (maybe 1+1 lens for candid).
I suggest just picking your 2 fav focal lenghts from the following and forgetting about zooms. Nothing wrong with the zooms, but for travelling even pentax's smaller 2.8 zooms are too painful. I would personally pick three, but 2 is cheaper![]()
15/4
21/3.2
31/1.8
35/2.8 macro
40/2.8
43/1.8
70/2.4
77/1.8
no love for the FA35 and FA50?![]()

Well.
Personally noI do own the 50, but I dont' use it much - I find it too soft at 1.4* and because using the speed is the main draw for me, it tends to languish. The 35 maybe, but i'd be tempted to just get the 43/1.8 instead for the metal build if I wanted the speed. Alternatively the 35 macro is a lovely lens which I really like using
)
*It might also be that I misfocus too much with it, but it's hard to think what else I can do to get critical focus more often, since I generally already use specific focus points and don't recompose, and in focus tests it works well enough.
43 f1.9 lah.
I have it, but it's super soft at f1.9 to around 2.8-ish, and super sharp from f4 onwards.
So with the 43, don't get it if you want speed and sharpness at large apertures.. the FA50 will be sharper wide.

That's one quirk I couldn't get over. As much as I like my portraits soft, I prefer it to be sharp initially for further PP. *Goes back to fiddling with the M50/1.7* ;p
