New camera: K-x is coming!

Pentax needs to have 100 different colours plastic resin for the molding process to produce these bodies. However, not sure how they overcome the economy of scale.
The K-X looks like a fashion statement with it's multi colours options. Which users' groups they are targeting?:think:

Here are my thoughts on the Pentax K-x and Pentax K-xC (request to Pentax by Hin)
I hope Pentax can make the color selection an international and global choice without boundaries. It is a difficult logistics for Pentax but it can attract enthusiasts with no physical and geological boundaries. If they go this far to tempt us with colors, please tempt us on an equal basis.
PS: some punt intended in my blog postenjoy it while we can before RH take a stab on reporting RED HOT issues and problems with color. Congratulation to all of us Pentaxians who stay put in Pentax.

Sure looks like a fun entry-level camera with all those "Holga-esque" colours. Dunno if I should get one as a back-up camera. But at the current price, I'd rather get another K10D and pimp it myself. ;p

Hmm.. Amazon Japan listing the K-x standard kit for JPY 69800 which is SG$1078, significantly more expensive than the US price of USD 649 which is (now) SG$916
I think you can get 10% rebate from Amazon Japan though which makes it about SG$970
Not sure which end of the price scale it will be when Emjay brings it in...
