Malaysia Airlines plane missing...

Should invite that KLIA bomoh to perform on stage at the next [Visit Malaysia 2014 Tourism Event] at the Singapore Expo. He can predict the next MRT breakdown.

The Minsitry of Transport in Malaysia is staffed with Bomohs. Therefore their trains never break down. :bsmilie:

If you want absolute zero breakdown, don't run the train. Haha. There is no fuss in Europe when they stop certain line for maintenance but when the same people come here, it seems they do have problem. Different environment different character?

There the trains are stopped for planned maintenance. Here the trains stop themselves for breakdown maintenance.

Weak ping received...

most likely another false alarm.

Najib has given up on these angmohs and went entertained other equally important matters with LHL. LOL

Once bitten twice shy. LOL LLL

Which people are you referring to?
Well, ask people in Berlin how they think about a train breakdown in the morning rush hour :bsmilie: But on the other hand: the train company never claims to run the world's best train service. So claim and reality are closer together. Secondly, many train tracks there are not elevated and have more than two rail tracks, a faulty train will not block all trains.

It does boil down to expectations as we do have a civil service that justifies it's very high pay for the top apex leaders by saying this budget allows hiring & retaining of the best.

The 'coincidence' that the train breakdown frequencies went up with a larger than average foreign workers influx didn't really help either.

If our 'world class' train company is a truly public service provider and making not much money just like Berlin or Paris, we are ok with some breakdowns, because we understand the limited resources.

Bloody hell, our SMRT is a money sucking company with shareholders and always looking to up their profit every damm year, u can accept this type of breakdowns?

They wan money, they better work hard to earn it.

U buy a Canon camera, which Canon is profit making company, can you accept any breakdown or malfunction?

Don't compare us with countries that are truly public service.

It's like PING Pong.......

Somethings PINGS..... the handling of it all really PONGS's.

Was just told there is a TV show about MH370 : 16TH APRIL - 21:00PM on DISCOVERY PREMIER....

Really cool actually... puts the search into perspective and the difficulty to find and recover....Now makes me think its a deliberate act to hinder the search altogether..... ?

Hmmmmm.... My watch is rated only to 12,800ft (3,800m ) and tested to 15,990ft ( 4,875m ).

Yes, I will. Because reason tells me that nothing is flawless. Secondly, it also matters how the issue is being handled.

Well, that sounds like statement from SMRT trying to defend the breakdown by out-ruling any possible comparison :bsmilie: Only comparison or competition with others will show where one stands. Everything else is self-praise and illusions.

Ok good for u

If your camera breaks down once a week, u will enjoy the journey to the service centre every week

Realise something?

• Before the Hiaxun put a cheap microphone on a metal pole from a raft, a few inches below the water surface and reported the pings - what were the massive force of multi-million $$$ Poseidons, Orions, destroyers, ships, HMS Tireless submarines, other search airplanes doing?

They appeared busy checking out debris in the sea in areas pointed out by satellite photos 5 or 6 days after those photos were first taken.

• Only after Haixun reported the pings, then others started reporting that they also heard pings. Before that - nothing.

• Up to today, it seems the pings were reported only by PRC Navy ship Hauxun, OZ ship Ocean Shield and OZ plane (using buoy dropped in sea).

• No such ping reported by any of the USA ultra super high technology Poseidons or Orions.

• No such ping reported by any of the high technology USA ships.

• No such ping reported by UK ultra super high technology HMS Tireless submarine.

Not reporting something may not necessarily mean that it was never detected.
