If the PRC do really find the plane while the OZ, US and UK somehow cannot find it with much better equipment, Poseidons, Orions, submarines, etc...

Then it fuels the PRC suspicion that if they did not rely on their own PRC assets and PRC Navy personnel to find the plane, it would somehow not be found by others.

IIRC, a US TV network show on MH370 had an expert guest view that it was in Boeing's interest that the plane was not found. Because if it was found and they are able to determine that there was no foul play by pilots/crew/passengers and that the plane had malfunctioned, then terrifying law suits against Boeing may ensue. Also affects their future sales of new planes with the 787 Dreamliner having widely reported problems.

Chuang Tse Tung 庄则栋 was table tennis world champion in 1961 (19 years old) , 1963 and 1965 using a simple no frills made -in-China low tech bat against European top players using the most expensive high tech bats of that era.

There may be a good reason why PRC Navy reports direct to Beijing first. If they had reported to the OZ led team, it may be buried under layers of bureaucracy, considered spurious and never seen the light of day. But when reported to Beijing first and Xinhua announced to the whole world, then it cannot be dismissed and ignored.

Anyway, on TV news the others don't look happy that PRC Navy detected 37.5Hz pulse.
It may or may not be the plane's black box pinger. Wait + see.

The array itself is small, that yellow delta shaped object is not the array itself.

I have complete trust in the Chinese equipment. The problem is the conditions in the South Indian Ocean is very rough not conducive to rubber dinghy operations.

Hiaz, already reported many times. That video was taken in the Atlantic Ocean, 60 to 80 miles off the western coast of Portugal onboard the LPG/C tanker, MV Venere (IMO 9298040) by Ivan Zakryzhevskiy on the 19 January 2013 (original video here).

Real-time meteorological data within the particular areas of Search and Locate / Search and Recovery (SAL / SAR) operations that I'm receiving now indicated fair weather conditions with slight sea state, 48 hours forecast looking very pleasant as well.

The big ship engine produce lots of noise and make it difficult to hear the weak signal from black box.

The others are also using handheld device from a rubber dingy, the "high tech" equipment is the unmanned submarine that will go down to confirm the signal once the surface vessel detected the signal.

BTW, those "rubber dingy" are actually Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boat (RHIB). They can withstand rough waves very well.
