But the islands' National Defence Force said on Wednesday morning that no trace of the missing flight had been picked up on radar.
"Based on the monitoring up to date, no indication of flight MH370 has been observed on any military radars in the country," it said a statement on Wednesday. The civilian radars at the Maldives airports had also "been analysed" but there was no "indication of the said flight," the statement added.
But so many eye witnesses may not be making up stories. What if the Maldives NDF radar is no functioning properly or not operative at the time?
Based on what Maldives NDF say, they immediately drop the lead?
The MLY committee never even bother to ask someone to interview all of the eyewitnesses?
If the plane is flying low to avoid radar detection, and the Maldive NDF say no indication. That's the whole idea of flying low.
Just like that the MLY committee drop the possibility? And quickly conclude not possible?
