Last night I got 35-100mm F2.8 ftom Amazon Japan as well. At SGD$1329. Good price. But now the price at Amazon Jp had increased by 3000 yens....

If you are talking about 35-100mm, I think Amazon Jp($1329) is cheaper . 12-35mm($1028) was the best price I could find online from Amazon Jp and compared prices from T- Dimensions, BH photo, etc-quite higher and not including delivery. Unless you are frequent traveller of Hk or Japan, you have to walk in circle at many various shops to hunt for better deal.

Suggest you do the researching of price 1st before you can decide which one selling at cheaper price.

I do , at least twice to HKG / yr.
mainly buy my camera stuff from HKG now , I'm still the idiot who'd prefer to test the equipment I'm buying.
Think so far have saved enough to buy an OMD body helping my friends and me buy when comparing to SG prices

Aiyoh...do not call yourself an idiot. I understand you are being cautious when it comes for buying lens otherwise you would hit on your chest with your fist if your copy turns out to be a "lemon". What matters the most is you are happy in what you bought within your budget.

Quite pleasant with my 12-35mm lens. Quite versatile within focal range. What can I say more about this lens? Super good and stronger colour and quite faster in daylight and night.
Bokeh below is good as well!

For me im more than happy to get my 35-100 at $1374 including delivery cos my 12-35 i pay like $1580 in singapore.... Somemore 35-100 is suppose to be more ex than 12-35

That is what puzzled me the most...At least we are happy with the complete set of 12-35 and 35-100mm. Plus more bag space and lighter in weight if we carry just two powerful lens everywhere.

Yup nw we must have two bodies so that we don need to change the lens more often.

Which shops in HKG, u went to?
plus air fare and hotel stay...still worth it?
