i think you should buy this car

hi
given the choice and also import permission. i'll would love to bring in the Holden Commodore VY SS Series II. That is the S5 plus GTR ( at least to me)
well terry. that was the car i've driven and yet to try the newer series. not to mention HSV. no one i know owns them =(
oh come on man. just because you're a ford man u say holden tat way. haha. JK. but i've yet to come across one which is in bad build quality. i nvr bothered with the bogan. not worth it to drag down the freeway. the police? oh well.
but HSV. when will the day come i test drive it. =(
as u would have guess im a Holden man. haha.
so i would highly suggest the Cayman or Boxster 2.9.
:bigeyes:i have a porsche 911 in my stable.and i dont like the way GTR has been branded as a porsche killer.cos in terms of pricing and luxury, porsche still wins wor...:bsmilie:
again, it is of your own opinion that she's trying to make herself into something that she supposedly isn't. which is a valid point of view, but that being said... isn't her point of view just as valid? that she's buying it for her own personal investment and enjoyment? at the end of the day, it's her money and unless she's breaking the law or hurting people directly, then I don't see why you (or anybody) should have a beef with how she spends her money.
besides, your views on monetary growth and assets may differ from the next individual. you think that property holds value the best, other people may not think so. what makes you so sure that she hasn't had money sunk into property anyway?
take a chill pill mate.
Tone: Calm
When we buy a car, we need to ask ourselves what do we want in that car.
Style? Purpose? Or both?
We have to see if we can handle such a car. Not it's speed, but simple things like parking.
I've seen many struggle with parking when it comes to such sports cars. You have to realise that the GTR and the S5 is much larger and wider + longer. Since the TS has already been driving a ferrari before, the width is not an issue, but length maybe.
Give some considerations when buying your favourite car. I'm not telling you how to spend your money, but rather, some humble friendly advice.
Buy a car that you would like, and something that would make you happy.
Have fun, car scouting.
GMAN
when i park the GTR in a lot, it protrudes from the parking lot.
So, in local scene, GT-R are all from parallel importers? I am not aware as i dont touch such cars here in sg.
If its not from the agent with proper facilities, would it be a greater gamble then?
hi
as i commented earlier. the GTR steering is a lil too dead for me. it does have the responsiveness but at high speed i dun have the feeling that im am in control of the car. the acceleration is shiok but i rather have control/confidence behind the wheel that acceleration.

i wish i could walk in and ask for a test drive. i dun look like i have the cash to buy those cars. the R8. wooo. yummy.
yeah. sad Singapore doesnt import them. it would make GTR rn for it worth. haha. ok kidding. yeah. back to topic. S5 the way to go.
R8 is cool.going for about 460k in sgp.
they had one red one in the showroom right now.
beautiful!
the cherry qq won't protrude!!!!! :bsmilie::bsmilie:
Buying a car in Singapore is not an investment. Correct me if I am wrong.
holden?i dont think singapore has that import.
yes, when i was in australia, i saw quite a few holdens.sounds good!but these beast are pretty heavy iirc.
it depends on what you deem as an investment. if an investment to you is an avenue of growing funds after a given period of time, then no... cars probably aren't the way to go. unless you're talking about classic cars like the 300SL Mercedes Benz, just for arguments sake.
heh. we were talking about the Holden HSV Clubsport R8 http://www.hsv.com.au/cars/Eseries/clubsportr8/clubsportr8.asp
nice but....looks very dated.
6.2liters but 0-100 in 5secs????
u're practically in her ignore list... :bsmilie: Time for Miranda Orange...
