i dunno about the others but everytime i walk into the shop and Sam saw me, he'll get someone to assist me or sometimes if all are busy he'll ask me to stay put and they'll attend to me shortly. that's a good thing about Sam, the good relationship does not end after the sales. i never had a bad encounter too when it comes to emails.
 

also it helps if you are a Cockasian with $, the salemen will stop serving to serve u

Am a local Singaporean, and not a Caucasian (btw, don't like the way you phrased your version of Caucasian. Not funny, but rude). Have always been served well by the staff of J316.

Sam always smiles and waves to me when i walk over. Folks, don't expect miracles from salespeople. Customers also play a part. I would say that all the staff i have encountered in J316 have been very friendly and will politely give their reasons for why this is good and that is not good etc.

So, yes, pleased with the service in that shop. Although it is not the only one i patronise. Other good ones too like MS Colour, TK Foto and SLR Revolution (or is it Technology) Ha ha, cant remember.
 

Yah, their service is the best, i had visited for quite a shops in funan, their are the best over there.
 

The bro handshake from Sam is very important whether you buy anything or not ..
 

I dont work there ........... I vouch for Sam, his dad and the team 100% ....... there is a reason why they are so popular AND NOT because they sell at rock bottom prices (they dont, their pricing is very fair and service geared towards client, buying or browsing).

I try to go at off peak hours especially during mid week, mid mornings or after lunch. Try my best best to AVOID early evenings, lunchtimes AND weekends

Genuine bunch of folks there :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

What's your issue here, if you have an axe to grid with John 3:16 please do it with them there. If you do not like their service do not go, and state your experience. No need for such sarcasm here. The only action we take will be post like this from you. :nono:

It seems most folk have (mainly) 2 issues with J316.

1. 'they make us wait'
- Thanks to Sam and his team, I always have all my questions answered to make the best choice without breaking a sweat.
- Good that they provide stools for the folk waiting in line.

2. 'they don't have the lowest price'
- Sam never promised me the lowest price in Singapore. He promised me the lowest price he can get for me based on his business setup. Overall, I'm happy I still paid a lot less than that annoying 'Y-E-S' lady in Court's Year-End-Sale advert.

Really kudos to Sam and his team who continue to consistently perform their utmost to bring good service to the photographic community!

What issue? Isnt this forum for fair critics and comment? I will moderate my style of comment since The CHieF do not like it. I did not find my comment sarcastic.

I beg for your pardon and fairness. U r the chief. I am only making comment on my dealing and observations and follow up on other's comments. I also giving a balance view of John and I am impressed with John too if u can read my comment earlier.

John 3;16= friendly, honest, helpful, resourceful!!! Though I'm not a regular there, but should I need an advise, they would be the best to get it from. The feeling of secure and you know that you're going to be cheated for anything at all....:thumbsup::thumbsup::)
