Spent the whole day today reformatting my hard disk. Don't know how,why computer full of spyware, crawling on internet connections, plenty of pop ups and applications crawling also. Finally got it up again.

Just one day, so many posts.

Panda, nice shot of the durians.

ark19, east coast pics very nice. I especially like the whites of the leaves and grass. Very good workflow, have to learn from you. You master of IR liao.

Adiemus, good to see you back with some shots. You using the R72 on the kit lens? When you going to have a day off from changing diapers so that we can all go for a shoot after vortex gets his Ilford SFX and ark19 get his longpass filter.

I managed to get a few ok shots at Chinese Garden but think I better not post with so many nice shots from you guys.

Max, you still want to try with the 5050, don't want to try with the 20D?
I have been away for a couple of days. So many new posts and so many
excellent IR pic's

teerex, in relation to re-formatting your hard drive. Have you used a program
called "Ghost" ? ..... it can help in cutting the time in setting up your system.
If not, I will give an explanation in another thread.

Have a great New Year guys, look forward to your pic's

Hi PandaOng,

Did you notice that this IR thread you started in Nov is about to reach 1000 posts.

 :cheergal: :vhappy: :rbounce:

Hi Pablo, had a nice Christmas holiday?

S**t, now problem with my dvd writer. Can't read and write dvds. Another day of trouble shooting  Don't want to flood this thread with my computer problems.

No I have not used that "Ghost" program. Would appreciate it if you could either PM me to enlighten. Thanks.

Agreed! ark19, lovely East Coast pics.

Teerex, thanks. Is there something that I'm missing? Using R72 on the kit lens is ok right? :dunno:

When are you guys going for a shoot (after the filters arrive that is...) :)

No, nothing is missing, perfectly ok. But 67mm R72 very expensive, and demand is greater than supply.

Like ark said he should be getting his long pass today, don't know when vortex can get his Ilford (for me also).

Will keep you posted on the next shoot. Hope it won't be like last Sunday, whole day of overcast.

Hehehe.... Did you did it then? How long is the warranty? Do you think its worth to take this rish even after the warranty is over?

No lah, warranty for 1 yr, even after warranty, I won't do it, cause result with D70 is very good ;)

If you want to try, I suggest getting a 2nd hand DC to try.

Adiemus, thanks :)

Vortex & PandaOng,
my homemade "Snow" guide is up, click here
