teerex said:Yo Pablo, glad you like the pics. There are a lot of places to shoot in any part of the world. Sometimes a scene may not look good, just shoot you may like it. Never be afraid to experiment.
Here's another with play of reflection, hope you like it.

ark19 said:Hmm, think have to rotate clockwise 1 or 2 degrees.
If you examine the bridge column, can see it's tilted.
Size wise, can try 800pix for width![]()

teerex said:You ordered 2 IR filters, 72mm and 55mm? How much do they cost there?
Just hope that the weather forecast in incorrect (which seldom is over in Aus and NZ). Waiting for your posts.
Happy Shooting.
vortex said:maybe we should all go for cokin filters??? :dunno:
Pablo said:Hi vortex,
I hope to not sound dumb, but where do cokin filters fit in the picture :dunno:
As I say," I don't wish to sound dumb", but I use Hoya
only because they are readly available here in about any size.
I am not about to do it all again (at least for all the sizes) but are cokin better than Hoya ?
Ahhhh, you just want to send me broke so I cant take a holiday over there and meet you guys :bsmilie:
Just kidding. I would like to meet up with you all some day
vortex said:i was just thinking in terms of buying only like the different rings rather than the filters all over again. since the filters will be standard? :dunno:
so sian...the hoya filters take so long to arrive....i was thinking...can i buy B+W infrared filters anywhere in SG???
http://www.adorama.com/BW67IR093.html
#092.
· This dark red filter is primarily for black and white infrared films.
· It filters out light below 650 nm.
· With color infrared film it produces pictures of a pure red image while making good use of the relatively low sensitivity of infrared films.
· Filter factor is approx. 20 - 40.
the Hoya R72 filters below 700nm right? so the B+W should give some interesting results too right?
actually sorry for typing all this....im a bit dazed and confused tonite
ark19 said:Wow, didn't see this just now, this is nice
Where did u shoot it?
vortex said:same here...i like this pic

The above panoramic image has been resized downwards by Clubsnap. A larger size image of the panoramic skyline can be found here for those who are interested:
