For us to know and for your to find out :bsmilie:

With the 828 you can view and compose your shot with the IR filter attached when switched to Night Vision Mode. That the advantage.

So, that is the tree I have read about
Who is the lone photog
Like the shot. I see what you mean about the Sony. It would definately make things easier. Do you know what the end result is like from the Sony yet ?

What camera did you use for the tree shot above :dunno:
Thanks for showing

The lone photog is Max2.8. I shot all with the D70.

Results on the Sony 828 for IR ??? Wait for IRman, he's the only guy using that camera.

Wah fast, I have not even got the photo transferred fully. Nice nice. Will transfer mine and post later. Anyway thanks to IRman for introducing the spot and we all had fun (and hopefully some nice photo to entice others). :)

Thanks guys for a great day of shooting, very fruitful. We must do this again.
Special thanks to IRman, now we know the place. I'll definitely go there again, have not explored the place enough yet, especially the lake area where the bridge is.

Bro, sala liao. That MRT shot is by Ark19, not me. Mine is IR Test 1,2,3,4,5.

Forget to thank IR Man and the rest, I really learnt something. Thanks guys, let do this again!

Wah you all are fast. Here are some to share. More coming later no time to post process. Thanks guys, should do this again right.
All photos not crop, I have used different colour scheme, some not so natural. What you all think on the colour scheme.

Did you try channel swapping as what teerex had told me.
Your shots looks OK and can be in colour I think.

I don't think channel swapping will help to bring out any colours. As I said yesterday I think the 8400 uses the same CCD as the 5700. I can't get any colours out of the 5700 also by channel swapping. Perhaps I can be done with some Selective Colour and Replace Colour in PS.

Vortex, shots are ok except for the third one. My opinion is that the leaves of the trees are tad blown and not distinct. Some pp might help.

A few shots from yesterday for you guys to view and comment.

Shots are at F/3.3, 1/25sec, iso200. +0.3ev. Handheld.

Actually I only change the channel abit here and there.
Sometimes did not return the blue channel back to 100%.
Some variation here and there but all the same thing that you taught me.
