Going to get my A40 from Alan today(sound so weird as i'm also alan) , hope he got stock.

Anyway, some queries hope u all can help me.
The Cam uses AA batts.. so if i wanna use Rechargables, have to get separate ones like GP Powerbank etc right?

Roughly how many shots can a load of fresh energizer batteries last? say.... at full res.


Lastly, hope to join this group of A40 users by tonight as a prowd owner.

like GP powerbank..
if u have extra cash, Rayovac PS4 1-Hour NiMH Charger would be a better choice

Fresh energizer ? less than 20 shots for sure. U can get Sanyo 1700mah / 1850mah , one of the best rechargable battery. Alan selling around $12~ for 1700mAh , $13+ for 1850mAh

It depends. If flash is used, lesser shot. For me, I seldom use flash. I will take a few shot, review, delete if necessary on the spot. Usually can last about 150 shots.
