Yes, I still say the A40 is definitely one of the best cameras for its price.

Yeah, I'm getting the Epson 3100Z (3.34mp with 5mp interpolated) from the recent Epson printer promo. It's actually not a new model (I heard that Epson is ending its digicam division) so it's probably the last digicam from Epson.

It's bigger (and heavier) but I feel that it fit my hands better. Sometimes, I find it not easy to hold the A40 steady sometimes, so a heavier camera might help me. And the 3100Z has a bigger and faster lens (F2.0), so I hope the images will be better.

quite agreeable that this baby does not really have a good zoom...
for zoom, i think olympus better

I sold it for the same reason as GKF. wanted to get something with better zoom. was eyeing on the 2100uz too, I guess I will wait a while to see what new cams are coming out into the market before making a purchase.
