hmm, true true according to what you are needing it for, but i go there for their quick turn around time and e6 processing. Maybe you can try posting your question in the Traditional Darkroom section, the members there are more experienced.

hi i like to ask
i went to a lab shop to covert to digital 16 base tiff
but i found out the resolution is on 72 (W 3090 x 2048) landscape..
is tht normal? or should be resolution of 300?

Initially i wanted to join in the fun for Thaipusam too, but my family had to go genting instead.. 3 consecutive years failed attempt :cry:

Finally got the chance to develop and scan the roll from last pentax outing. Somehow several shots turned up looking like this, some subjects were "overexposed" yet other in the same picture were not. I did not do any post processing at all!

The colour cast in the first two pictures, straight out from scans?
I used Cs user dorts home scanning service. I think he used an Epson V600.
I see that you've visited his thread. 300dpi is good enough for me. Grain is visible, but that's the beauty of film.
I asked for no colour correction since I wanted to see the expired film effect.
For first pic, the green glass was already painting the XMM with a green hue. The second pic was in slightly overcast weather. It's giving off a cooler and slightly desaturated tone, which is expected from an expired film.
Here's another (underexposed) example.
Finally processed and scanned my 2 month old roll. :sweat:
Pentax MX + M 50/1.7 + Fuji Across 800 @ 640 (Expired) (No PP)
Too much tilt, my bad...
Overall, apart from some under/overexposure out-of-scanner, the desaturation and grain were to my liking. :thumbsup:
I've been spending days inside the library, woah, so many korean babes...erm i mean students ;p
