I walked around there before, usually the cameras are all in junk condition, full of dirt and fungus.

That's true for lenses.
Last Saturday saw a M42 SMC 50mm 1.4 and what seems to me looks like cataract on the front element. Wonder why they bother to put them for sale.
I saw the camera & lenses on bargain tray in camera shops in Japan are far better condition.
Anyway, that's a way off in comparison btween shops and theives market.
