Your darkroom very bright. :bsmilie: On the one or two occasions I worked in a darkroom, we never dared to turn on the lights, not familiar enough with the procedures to be sure when it's safe to do so.

We have the luxury of working in a very spacious basement darkroom. There is one 2m x 2m dark room just for loading film into the developing tank, and another bigger dark room with safe light for wet printing. This bright area is only used for negative development, which does not need to be done in darkness. The first roll I developed, I was so confused and took so long to get everything in order. :bsmilie:

first roll is always the most exciting, after that u will want to try more things...
anyway after a few more rolls and its less choatic... :bsmilie:

Very mang zhang, especially in total darkness opening the film canister, loading the film onto the spool, etc. But seeing the images finally appear successfully on the developed negatives gives quite a sense of accomplishment! :)

actually i prefer a darkroom, got more room to move and easier to feel things, u try using a changing bag, its torturing the very first time....

Success!

VERY nice scans!! i wished i had access to darkroom facilities...

My DIY scanner resides in my dorm room, not in the darkroom :bsmilie:

We learnt how to do contact sheets last week and will be starting on wet prints this week.

K1000, M50 f1.7, taken wide open

No pp sharpening, just WB adjustment and resizing using CS4. The M50 1.7 is really sharp wide open, do you agree?

The evident dusts are due to my lowly 8800f flat bed scanner..
