That picture looked impossible to obtain correct exposure... If i were you, i would have abandon the sun being part of the picture.

Anyway how much did you pay for the Fuji Pro 400?

I was testing out the power of SMC , actually i was captivated by the glow of that ermmm what you call that plant? It was like 4 or 5pm when i took it, so no matter how low i go, the sun will still be present, maybe i need to work more on composition. I bought the film at cathay photo, forgotten how much i paid.

Nice series of retro looking photos you have there :)

I thought I had rewound the film back into the canister and opened the door only to see the whole film staring back at me. It was a roll of film for my photo assignment. :mad2: Will be developing the film tomorrow, hopefully not the entire roll got nuked by the light.

That really sucks... I usually wind till i hear the film lead going entirely into the canister

That's what I do usually but it was too cold when I was done shooting so I didn't take the time to wind it on the spot. Later on back at home, I forgot that I hadn't rewound the film yet and popped the door.:mad2:

Turns out I only lost about 5 frames.. 2 at the end and about 3 mid-roll due to light leaks

Took these photos on the night of chu yi!!

Yup -1 EV comp and double-exposed by holding the film-rewind button down while winding very gently on a tripod. For anyone who's interested, in between shots shoot a blank frame with the lens cap on to ensure that the shots don't overlap, especially in the later part of the roll. Won't be able to get the full 36 shots but it's better than having overlaps.

Thanks for sharing! It's really eerie... I showed my gf the pictures and got scolded. lol

For this shot, everything was a good coincidence. Timing, focus, his right mitten fell off, opened his eyes, and made a 'peace' sign. :)

I am new in film camera. I like all your work. Just wondering do you print out 4R copy to scan or you scan directly from negative? May I know which scanner your are using?

My scanner is a K20D + Tamron 90mm :bsmilie: I put the film in a metal negative carrier for a darkroom enlarger, and backlight it with a table lamp. Primitive, but I guess it works. Not going to spend money to buy a film scanner.

You need to make sure the URL ends with .jpg, that's a direct link to the actual image, such as: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4013/4370303556_b4ed432cf1.jpg
