err...... wat is TCSS ah?
antonnius, when u send the S5700 for repair, did they upgrade the firmware for u too? i am think if it is worth to upgrade the firmware as from what i know is that the upgrade allows the use of SDHC cards, but i dun really need that much memory space at the present.
last monthyup they did a upgrade the firmware but still now i found out another problem is the AF assist light will on forever if i use timer or AF assist..sigh...
then u need to go for repair 2nd time ah? any improvement on the camera other than can use sdhc cards. i am thinking if they will add more stops in choosing the aperature size in this firmware as now is F6.8 then jump to F13.6
nt much different wor.. well battery life still the same ...oh yea ..just wanna to ask u ah ..if u fully zoom to something from far..will ur picture go blur??? and cannot AF?? after the upgrade i have this problem...now !! and i`m going back tomorrow...le...
well, that depends. cos if the object that u are focusing on is very near to the lens, even if u switch on macro, u will still get a blur image. unless u r say that like taking landscape pic, from far, u zoom all the way, that shldn't result in a blur image.
Thks for the link on the firmware upgrade.![]()
hmm... then i think perhaps that's really a problem with ur camera.
Is the S5700 so problematic? My 4 Fuji cams worked w/o a glitch.
Bought the S5700 for family member, S$399 with 2G SD upgarde. Was trying it out today @ Kallang CP Rally. I'm very impressed with the camers. 1 feature that the S5700 has that I like is ISO64, great for panning use. I found the focusing quite fast despite non manual zoom.
Value for $$ camera. Highly recommended.
