i loved the 1st pic... if u managed to capture the lighting included in the pic, definitely classic:thumbsup:

sad leh, 1st pic is set to landscape mode, cam
do all e work. TMD, e 2nd pic lighting totally different (duno issit
cause i use shade under lighting mode) & e tower dun look so sharp
but does it really look tat bad? cause it's all manual setting. :dunno:

I think it's due to nobody really lock down

e 2nd pic is ok , just tt doesnt fit ur description of rainy evening..probably due to ur shade white balance. Y dun u set to custom white balance by shooting on white pc of paper. Should b more accurate.

hmm.. i also agree with the review that the battery life is weak.. cos within a week, my camera's batt depleted pretty fast..

well, at least it's AA batteries so not so bad. but
why fujifilm chose to release one newer model if e diff is digital zoom
(which is practically useless) & megapixels?, e rest looks similar leh.

lets do a interesting test.. find a day we shoot some similar pictures w S8000 and s8100 using same settings.. den we see any diff in pic quality

I kinda like the second pic though, can see the leaves, got detail.. but the sky gone liao.

Question is.. why is there digital zoom at all in cams in the first place. Doubt anyone uses it. Megapixels understandable, marketing. Numbers sell in numbers.

Actually for small little sensors like those in our cams I've read that anything above 6MP is too dense, hence prone to noise if bump up the ISO. High ISO also marketing, no matter how counter-logical it is.

Our S8000 also sports ISO6400... used it once, then I stick to ISO 64 ;p

no lah.. no travel a lot lah.. will be bringing my cam definitely.. it has all along been staying in my bag so that anytime can just whip it out to capture nice moments.. will post some pics when back.

i kinda like the 2nd pic cos can see the trees and building more clearly, but not the tower cos i think it's in the white..the 1st one seems a bit dark, not able to bring out the nature feeling..

gave off a big white spark & after that lost power
& couldn't boot up no more. sigh..... duno how

if this is a freq prob and ur warranty is over, suggest u change a new pc....same thing used to happen to me..spent a atomic bomb repairing till cant tahan
anyway, ours not criticism ..just comments and opinions... I have seen real criticism.. its like a one strike kill tt breaks ur morale down.. KO!:hung:

so do wat e enviromentalist always say... recycle reuse etc
