Relac bro, not harsh criticism. I, for one, just dun know how to shoot the sky. Mine's always blown out too :angry: Keep shooting and have fun. Good or bad feedback, no need to be affected cos it'll be diff opinions from diff people.

Anyway, tomorrow I will be going for another shoot and I will post after that. Even if Kenn say it's the most atrocious eyesore I'll be ok, but must tell me what's wrong with the pic lah then I can correct the mistake. Part of learning mah. Better get feedback now than one fine day sekali shoot something important then found out got bigger mistakes.

As for the PC, get new one lah. I don't believe in branded PCs. Anyway components get obsolete so fast, a simple one will do unless you do gaming.

Just found 2 photos in my gallery that shows the sky. See my first one, also blown out.

This one at least see a bit of blue lah. Looks like some mountain town huh? Reminds me of the opening song in South Park the movie "Redneck Mountain Town" LOL!

i like this pic.. the sky is nice.. and the clouds seems to be like snow hill which blends in well with the house below.. so what's your settings fro this.. i think you are focusing on the sky as the sky forms 2/3 of your pic..

- i believe the sunset view is good, perhaps can try that place. think that place quite quiet too.. not that crowded..

2. east coast park
- if you want to try out panning mode.. quite a lot of skater, cyclists and ppl there over the weekend.. and see tents and tents..

3. Zoo

4.Hort Park.
- very nice view.. it's the in thing now..

Yes, you are right. I couldn't lock my exposure on the houses else the whole sky would be 白白净净. The setting used for this pic was ISO64, F/4.5, 1/450s. I know that's a lazy was to shoot ;p I am a lazy person mah.

haha... me will not be joining lah.. outstation during that weekend... however, can give suggestions loh... cos these are the venues which have gone and find that it's worth giving it a shot...

hmmm... think at least need 3 ppl for outing den more fun.. hey JBK, did u manage to buy parampita's GP rechargeables at NTUC? I gt 4 panasonic rechargeable batts myself.. and using alkalines as backup but think this method is too costly... better get some more cheap gd rechargables :think:

Just came back home! Had about 3 hours at Botanical gardens again, this time with my dad. He's a good sport, really enjoyed the bonding session:angel:

Today tried some different settings, later will post some pics. BTW expenses for today even cheaper than last week! Car park $1.58 only. Hee hee!

I think the AMK thread for tomorrow Bishan Park morning outing release pigeon already.. no news.. outing seems very difficult to happen, perhaps that's why I always shoot alone :cry:

yup..3 is a nice number for outings.. more fun.. me didnt manage to get it leh..went to marine parade ntuc, but they no sell GP rechargeable leh..only saw energiser.. so i just get the alkaline batts to standby first..in case, my batt runs low..tml then go and recee again.. must get the rechargeable ones..if not, my pocket sure have a hole one..

I think our cam has limitations,have to accept this fact :what:.....I tried takin fashion show events b4..pics turn out crappy...too slow to capture and freeze even w flash...
think our cam best used for taking scenery landscape :sweat:
