Tks. Will check it out.

Yes, only the soft release button from decameraconsultant fits perfectly for all the Fuji cameras.

U tried d samyang 8mm fisheye on d x mount? Howz it? Artworkfoto was recommending it when i was there. 460 sgd IIRC

Haha.... sorry! Thought a lot of users love longer, higher button so didn't want to affect the experience.

Mr Tay's soft release button may be too small for some users though.

Always find "fish-eye" lens too restrictive for my purpose and never liked. Only buy lenses which I will use most of the time.

Well.. gotta trial n error... Haf a feel that bigger soft button is easier for pressing wif comfort and more stable, smaller ones haf better ergos n sits better into the shutter release button of the body. Seems CSers kept losing bigger soft buttons as compared to smaller ones. Think can try wrapping wif some white tapes on the thread of the button n should b able to make it sit tighter into the body's shutter release button.

Fisheye does give one another interesting perspective of our shots... Haha... Well, let's see any bros here had bought the samyang fisheye n had put it into good use? Cheer... I m still holding out buying anymore lens except the future 12mm from Zeiss that will be launched next year. Dun c the point of having the 14mm or 18mm XF lenses or the 12mm Super Wide Heliar, from my personal preference. This Zeiss 12mm should be very good on the X-E1 & X Pro 1.... anticipating..

The blob is normal.. I guess you bought the glass-type screen protector? I suspect Fuji's LCD screen is "sticky" thus it tends to get the glass protector to stick onto it. No worries mine is the same too.

Just realized, my small blob is gone... Cheers... Awesome... :vhappy:

The Zeiss will be retailing at over $1.6k when release next year, but the CV12 is going for $1.1k brand new. I got mine pre-owned for $800 only... 1/2 the cost of the Zeiss 12mm. To be the CV12 is darn worth it for the price I paid. ;)

Heard the current street price for the X-E1 with the 35mm 1.4 in hkg is 11k which works out to be 1774SGD. Still way cheaper than in SG. Not sure why the price differential is so much.

How is the warranty status? Does Fuji camera bought overseas have warranty in Singapore?

when you're bored with it can pass it to me cheap :-) I too been eyeing CV12 but I heard on NEX-7 it has bad purple haze issue which is NEX-7 issue.

To All X-E1 users why you guys haven't created your photo thread? come lor start posting pix or start posting your tricked-up or blinged X-E1 lolz

Yeah. Already d 15mm CV gives such an irritating purple haze. I can't imagine how d 12mm CV will perform on d NEX 7 sensor. I haven't seen any pics by d 12mm CV on d x-e1 yet. Any bros to share?

It has some color shift (purple/blue/green) at the extreme corners but the Fujifilm M-mount adapter does wonders :bsmilie:

Haha. Great to hear. Anyone tried d cv 12mm on other adapters like d hawk factory one? How does d Fuji one differs?

Fuji adapter is a smart adapter, it allows autofocus on adapted lens! :bsmilie:

Nah just joking... it is a smart adapter. By pressing the button at its side, you can access the sub-menus to fine-tune:
1. color shift correction (to correct purple cast on wide angle lenses).
2. barrel/pincushion distortion correction
3. vignette/shading correction

The Fuji adapter also allows you to punch in the focal length of the adapted lens. On the x-pro1 the projected framelines on the OVF will match the focal length entered. Not only that you can identify the focal length used to capture the shot (the EXIF will show the focal length but not the model of the lens. On my CV12 it shows 12mm... useful if you have more than 1 adapted lens.

Another thing is the Fuji adapter automatically turn on the "shoot without lens" function. Some of us might prefer to turn this off when we use our XF lens.

Ooo... no wonder its so ex... But I still prefer the helicoid function of the Hawk Factory ones... Any issues wif leaving the shoot without lens options turned on when shooting wif XF lenses? Mine is still left turned on... LOL
