(Deswitch) One newbie photo a week

Not a very well taken panaroma view of upper pierce reservior some time back. Was using it to try out stiching photos together. There was 4 photos stiched together here.

Thank you. This was taken a few days before we went for the outing. 1st time trying to take panaroma. Only used my tripod's center column to rotate. A bit hard to level the tripod as I do not have the bubble level. Should have made a 360 deg view.

I just found it in my company's inventory. Was used to take photos of Live Electrical cables for hot spots. The photos is something like the "predator view"

I think the flash was too harsh.
But still i can't get anywhere near these birdies like you.

your macro photos are nice and sharp,
you only need to work on your flash intensity

you might want to consider modifying your flash setup

Thanks for the coment. Yup my flash was too harsh even after setting to -2/3 EV. Was lucky or the birds in Bt Timah are tame. Very close.
