Made some adjustment and to reduce the distracting grass on the left, I added a frame. Please comment if this works.

Contrast is better now, and less of the grass on the left is good. However, the highlights are still rather distracting.

Edit: Sorry, bro, I hope u don't mind me editing your pic a bit. Here is what I did:

1) Used shadow/highlight function in CS2 to reduce the highlight
2) Used burn tool to darken the lower part of the snake a bit
3) Pushed the curve in the centre slightly, so that it became concave downwards.
Not sure whether it works, but I realised I've been rather KPO lately :embrass: If u want me to take down the pic, just let me know ...

Ooops, read the edit in my post above. Does photostudio have a burn tool? :)

I have CS2 at home. Wow, I had been trying to bring out the details on the lower part of the snake . Thanks. I will try this burn tools. Had not used it before.

Don't forget the "shadow/highlight" function too ;)

Here is another photo taken at MOG last Sunday. its a Female Crimson Sunbird. I love the catchlight in its eye but too bad the right corner is blocked by a leaf.

Though blocked slightly by the leaf, it's still a beautiful shot! A pity there's a white patch above the head ...

I'm keeping the round patch just above the head as it makes the bird looks saintly.

I was at MOG yesterday shooting Birds when it rains. I took shelter at a nearby shed and suddenly I heard something falling from the nearby tree and landed on the bushes beside the shed. Upon closer look, I saw this little snake so I took some shots. Out of the 30 over shots only this one can make it after a bit of cropping. I dont dare to go nearer even though I have a macro lens attached.

She was in the right spot. The school's spot lights just shines on her face so I quickly took a shot. Its a bit OOF though.
