Hey guys, I just got my D90 Kit from COMEX.
I bought mine at $1700 (Cash/Nets/Credit Card).
You need to talk with the guy to tekan his price tho. ;p

Freebies I get are:
1x Lowepro 190 AW Bag
1x 3rd Party Batt (So I have 2x Batt together with the 1 in the box)
2x 8gb SD Card (1x Kingston 1x Sandisc)
1x Cleaning Kit
1x Nikon Camera Strap (not the usual 1, it's more comfortable kind)

bought my D90 yesterday....and btw, whats all this clanking sound...freaked me out actually...but i heard its quite normal and something to do with gyrometer.

Anyone who is interested in buying a D90 kit or any other kits... try not to get from Comex. Not that I'm saying you can't, just not my recommendation.

Would rather you buy from a reputable shop, and build up r/s from there for future purchases.

Always remember, these IT shows do not always = Cheaper.

Anyway D90 pricing quite constant already. Bought mine in feb 09 about 1.7k+.. now still ard same price. Good buy! :thumbsup:

Hi, dun bother to buy at COMMEX. I went there as early as it open this afternoon but the price disappointed me.

End up i got it from other shop with the almost same free gifts but i paid 200+ less.

Mind sharing which shop was it and what were the free gift u got??

i think the only thing "good" about comex is purchase with purchase. get dslr , pay $299 get sb-600. but dont forget its actually factored in.

considering they're selling d90 for $1988 and sb600 @ $299 (for every dslr purchased) thats a total of $2287

if you get at shops maybe around $1.7+ sb600 @ $375.. your total is $2075.

Just got my first DSLR, the D90, last weekend. Have not had much time to play with the settings, but I am amazed by the picture quality of the kit lens 18-105mm.

Nikon deals at whatever PC fair is NOT CHEAP....

Got mine at $1680 with all freebies in.
y pay $300+ more for only $50 worth of china freebies?
