I got my new camera with shutter count of 800, but the first memory card used was the old card from the shop already with photos. I am not sure this was the cause of it. Anyone knows anything?
all you have to do is to take a picture now... open the latest picture using the EXIF viewer to check your shutter count... cos the old picture could be from other camera with a shutter count of 800.

Thanks but it does not work like this. The new photos shutter counts are increasing from the very count of 800, even I re-format the memory card, use the brand new one.
I am suspecting the seller use that camera but then they always claim they don't let customers try any camera. So it can't be that many. Only explanation is old memory card could "fool" the camera to start a count of like 800???
