Hello nmadness,
Looks like you have to wait a bit longer...market runs out of D90 stock now...news has it that all shops AP, CP, John, Lord's, TCW, MS, TK, etc are allow to carry 3 sets of D90 kit at any one shipment currently (i suppose it become a hot items since it recently won this year TIPA award for Adance group DSLR).
Happy waiting :-), (it's worth the wait for this D90, really)

Cheers^^

man.. that too little (3 sets per shipment)... had to ''happy waiting''

ya nikon should distribute more then we have more D90 users then! :)

Noticed during the recent Night Museum Festival that there were lots of D90 users, almost 1/3 of nikonians there were D90 users!!!

Aiyo, for goodness sake, just go to any other shop and get a D90 if you really desire for it. I got mine from a non-listed shop in Sim Lim at $1690 by bargaining for a 4G, cleaning kit. The package may not be competitive, but I just enjoy exploring it earlier.

Perhaps some people like to play waiting game, then I close my case.

For those with urgent need, saw a set of D90 at Mustafa. Not sure if got freebies but less than $1700.

My humble work using D90 video...

Magdalena Neuzilova's VideoComCard

Nice vid concept you did with a D90!
Viewing experience was good, but cept the fact that at some points it was rather 'shaky' when it shouldn't be :X

And... nice BG music

*the focus and defocusing was done quite frequently... IMO abit 'irritating'. haha..

You'll need to produce the receipt.. I think there are additional benefits when you register.

Yea... I got my D90 from J316 yesterday. Samuel kept one for me when the shipment came on Tuesday. Went straight down in the noon to grab it!

Had my first DSLR experience(and D90 experience) today at the zoo. Using my 18-105mm kit lens. I have a question, how do you improve on taking low light pictures?

Up the ISO and/or use flash ? Lower the Shutter speed and use a tripod ?

to me, ISO 1600 is still pretty decent

Thanks man again!(read your other post on the newbie section) I forgot to mention that I wanted to know how to improve in low light without using the flash. Got to learn the skill man.. :) .. and the ISO is the answer that I found out many have said. This was one aspect that I forgot to adjust. I predominantly using manual ISO set at 320. Is setting the ISO to auto good? I read in the D80 All you need to know sticky that is a good feature to use. And if it is, should I be setting it the same. Min shutter speed: 1/30 ISO max: 800.

I was shooting during the sea lion show and all came out black.. I was using the S mode as it was moving and I thought it's best to increased the shutter speed. Is that right? When I do that the aperature setting in the viewfinders shows me Lo. I tried to increase the EV but it didn't help much.... or should I stick to the A mode?

Auto ISO is a useful feature in low light. Set to the min shutter speed u think u can handheld with acceptable sharpness, have to do some test urself. Max ISO depends on the amount of noise u can accept.

When using S mode and it shows Lo, means it is already at the max aperture but it's still not enough for proper exposure. Changing Ev will not help as ur aperture is already at the max, so increasing ISO is the only way if u want to maintain that shutter speed.

To use auto ISO, u have to be in either P or A mode.
