I am using their Dust-Aid Platinum and Dust-Wand Kit. Highly recommended! Very clean indeed!

Hi! Just bought the D7000 kit today from TK. It's great except I noticed it has a shutter count of 53 already although the salesguy brought out a "brand-new" set. Should I be annoyed by this?![]()
I believe is normal as the camera is tested by QA before it is ship out...
i got mine with 0 count but who cares? So long as its working fine n the unit is in good cosmetic condition, go out n shoot!![]()
53 i think its ok.. just ignore it and shoooot more haha
Thanks! Haha will definitely be using this camera a long time

I'm just worried that their demo kits were chosen because they might be slightly problematic but I can't tell. I mean its not going overboard to ask for a new set when you're investing nearly 2000 dollars haizz

FYI, for those like me who just bought the D7000 these past couple of days, dont make a wasted trip to redeem the free lens for the time being.
Please call the Nikon Service Centre to register your redemption of the AF 500mm f/1.8D lens. They will call you once their stocks are in.
"AF 500mm f/1.8" if nikon offers this, d7k will become the best selling camera in nikon's history for sure. Lol j/k

You should be annoyed, very annoyed. It could be a return set from customer due to camera fault. You should exercise your consumer rights and ask for a 0 shutter count set. Test on the spot till satisfied! ;p
How do you check shutter count at the shop? You should be annoyed, very annoyed. It could be a return set from customer due to camera fault. You should exercise your consumer rights and ask for a 0 shutter count set. Test on the spot till satisfied! ;p

Is it true that the camera won't allow you to shoot until you setup the basic settings?
i reckon if you see the salesman setting up the camera (date, clock, etc) for the first time, its most likely new set.
