Thank guys for your input. Primarily, I fancy low light portraiture and night scene that include also night scene landscape when I go on holiday with my family. Hence, is 35 f1.8 or 50 F1.8 prime len suitable for low light portraitureand night scene. D7000 seemed to be my ideal camera. And I want to learn more about the appriate lens so I can buy the body without the kit lens. Please pardon my inadequate knowledge.
Cheer!
D300s replacement will be sharing sensor with A77 and D700 replacement will be sharing with A850 replacement.
So we could roughly gauge their announcements by these connections.
Start with the 35mm f/1.8. It is cheap and wide. Definitely good for low lights since it is f/1.8. Some people find 50mm too tight (especially on DX bodies). You just zoom with your legs. Great for confined spaces.
Understandable to skip the kit lenses - since you already know something about DSLRs... Kit lenses are good for those who've just started out.
so does anyone has any news on when its coming out yet?
