Not everyone will go for D7000 as its price is not cheap.
Many people especially beginners or casual shooters who have limited budget will still go for cheaper yet good quality like D90.

d7000 alone = JPY 124,200 (S$1950)
d7K + 18200 VRII = JPY 203,400 (S$3,200)

But isnt it a wee bit too close to the 7D? and the 7D has slightly better specs in the focus and FPS department right? I think a price of 1600-1700 would be a good buy, any higher would not make it worth it. At least for me =D

same sentiments here..I thot Nikon should price it competitively with the 60D since most consumers should tend to have kinda recency tendency to compare the price of the newest models. I hope D7K is around tt range too..

Not all lah, they realise they got not enough strength to hold the camera the wrong way anyway. So end up just use PNS for that purpose, especially since now got burst mode for PNS, can spam photos on FB (all the pics the same one) to make it lag :bsmilie:

sometimes i feel that dslr on auto mode is no different from a PnS just that you have a lens that can zoom further without cutting quality. so why not just get PnS Camera? they can buy 2 with the money they spend on dsllr..haha no offence man..
