Cause last time have many user to be sold out in within a month..

innitial thoughts:
the body feels like my 18-105 kit from d7k.
auto focus sounds like 18-105 with screeching sound. snappy like my 18-105
vr is so effective that i can get a steady shot hand held at 85mm in 1/30 (est) of a sec.
sharp wide open in the center frame at 50-85mm .... slightly lesser than my 50mm 1.8d on f2.8
thats about it......
tomorrow i will bring my toy at serangoon nex to photograph running kids at the wter playground.
nikoneer said:i also noticed that when i mount my 50mm 1.8D the screw type auto focus.
the motor from d600 sounds like it has more torque and speed compared to d7k... i am afraid that someday it will plow all the gears inside....

Good selection. I just hope my Sigma 85mm f/1.4 can hold up against the FX sensor. Else, may have to switch to the Nikon...
As for wide angle, I evaluated both the 14-24mm and the 16-35mm. At f/5.6 - f/8, the 14-24mm still has the distinct advantage, and I am going for the 14-24mm.
Vignette is also apparent in the 16-35mm at large apertures, although it is easily corrected in PS
I think quite a number of canon users jumped ship this round because of this camera.
For the benefit of those new here, if you are looking for a new flash, Challenger is having a roadshow in Funan lvl 1 now, the SB700 is at $399 any mode of payment. Just proceed to the Nikon booth. I bought 1 a while ago.
