i would always shoot in fx,if i need a 'tighter' view, i would use a long lens...or crop later in LR or CS3.

shooting at 5mp, if i need to crop in tighter, i may not have the resolution to play with.that's my experience.

how come your pics not sharp?
what lens you using?

Btw i'm using a slow lense, Nikkor 70-210 f/4-5.6 during the shoot. Haven't invest in a 70-200 VR yet

This thread was started when the D3 was first launched. It has been quite some time that the D3 is launched, many initial issues and comments are given and many members have already gotten the camera. It is time that this thread be closed and members can just positng any discussion in their own thread instead of one long one like this with many pages.
