cos its not against the legal law? not against the terms and use of Clubsnap forum?

its just some ppl like yourself dun like ppl showing off in the forum. you can simply ignore these ppl.

Yes agree....ppl who publish their equipment inventory or accumulated photography related spendings are not the only ones "showing off".... How about those that boast of their photos, their credentials, their network bla bla... Clubsnap nor any other forum (imo) disallow "showing off" ...whether it is a social ill, it's a separate topic.

Yes, I meet show offs in everyday life, but doesnt mean they are guilty of any crime

I post here to while away, otherwise it's boredom, just to shoot and look at the photos. I like to discuss and share and wish to have more friends who have this common interest and to meet them, especially if they are staying near to my neighbourhood.

I like to feel good when I take better photos but when people ask me what I use to take, they realise my gear is way 'bad quality', 'low class', 'unusable' than theirs

Yup

The best 'compliment' that I 'received' was someone asking if I took my photos with macro lens when I was actually using my kit lens.

So talking about bad image quality? Corner softness? CA? Perspective distortion? I buy all that and I love it! My kit lens is as wonderful as a macro lens! WHOOHOO!

So I shall buy more amazing gear and in a way hope people look up to me and all the specs and beautiful bokeh and low light performance and the huge ass white lens red ring to make up to all my flaws.

As long as I have all these people will think I totally know what I'm doing even if I don't!
