Hi guys! As usual can't join you guys cos gotta play single dad sigh....anyway i got a suggestion. Since there's quite a bunch of you going, why dun ask Chief M to approach the Canon guys to organize a simple photo competition that day so as to encourage more serious photography then just looking at baboons asses!!! Maybe like submit best of 3 pics each and let them be the judge and of course let them give some prizes too...i think that would make the trip more meaningful! Again..just my 20 cents!!!

Hi..i oso heard the 30mm very sharp. I bought a Sigma 20mm 1.8 last week. So far use it mainly for landscape. Only from 2.8 onwards then it's starts to get real sharp. This one i keep for night shots:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Im thinking of this as my next glass too. Just a thought, Bro dev did mention that the reason he chose the 20mm instead, is becos the 30mm is too close to 50mm that we already have. I kinda agree with him.

anyway, like to hear your thoughts.

i use the kit lens and set the zoom to around 30mm and still find it not much of a difference compared to my 50mm. maybe thats just me but i really think its not worth the hassle haha.so i think i'll keep my 50mm and save up for something more flexible :thumbsup:

i used my friends sigma 10-20mm and its really really awesome when taking landscapes n such.
