Wow ..I'm surprised that you guys move so fast on my suggestion..but better now than never. Since I was the one who threw the stone in first, I should also take responsibility for it too. Hence I'll also volunteer my time and experience into it. So here's the updated list:

Ok, methinks its time to step in. Good suggestion by Zaren to have a buddy system, but I think some members already OT this thread by putting themselves into the "Need Buddy" list....

Since we are all here to help each other (in the forums as well as outside doing real photography), the system can be used to guide newbies (and by that definition, members who have less than 100 posts) within the forums. Outside, well, I can understand that members with few Ks of posts in the forums can still be construed as newbies (myself included since there are aspects of photography which I have not explored), but for this buddy exercise, let's agree that members who have been in this forum for a while be recognised as potential Buddies and not Newbies.

So ... to put some clarity - Buddy system is for older members (in forum terms, not necessarily in age) to assist Newbies in the forums as well as to lead interested groups outside in photography outings (to be arranged by the Buddy or Buddies).

Zaren, please feel free to reassign those members who do not qualify for Newbie status (you know who lah, those with many many postings) and assign them as Buddies ...
