Best walk around lens for Canon cropped body

Who has the 17-55 and the 15-85 at the same time? With the overlap, what makes you choose one over another?

I use 17-55 when I know I be using my cam mainly in indoor or low light condition due to f2.8.
When out in the day to places like park, natural reserve places where need wider n longer range for very general use, I will use the 15-85.

I got the 15-85 first because I felt the need for a longer lens. But once I started using the 17-55, i was blown away by its IQ. If I had to choose between the 2, I would keep the 17-55 for its imba IQ and constant f2.8

Plus one to that for me! Had the 15-85 first then bought the 17-55, sold the 15-85 almost immediately and didn't look back at all. It is not called the king of the cropped for nothing.

I bought the king of crop..... never regreted....... and it is really that good....

Wish it had L build n seal....

lol.. but that's why some people call the 7D the King of Crop isn't it?

And also the reason it's in the XD series.. The lesser the digit before the "D", the higher the line it is.. ;p

The bottom line is that the 7D is Canon's new king-of-the-APS-C DSLRs - clearly the best yet. Though I would like to see sharper results at lower sharpness settings (set sharpness to "2" or "3" and don't worry about it), the Canon EOS 7D turns in great performance and great image quality in a great package.
