Thanks bro, I went to Bishan Park today for a picnic with my family, so I had a little time to re-shoot the Common Sandpiper. I got closer to the bird today at 11m.

Love your close-up shot of the KF Chris. You must be very, very close to it. Amazing sharpness and details from a handheld shot.:thumbsup::heart:

Very nice closeup photo Bro! I like all:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice up-closed shots chris! :)

Relooked at the entire series... Wonderful work indeed!!! And all handheld shots too? Fantastic. Your's is the 50-500 OS? Really nice and sharp shots, all of them!  :)

Thanks bros! Ya, I was quite close to the birds when I took the shots. The lens is the Sigma 150-500mm with OS, all handheld shots, I find it easier and more convenient.

I am using the same lens, but still have not managed shots like yours, on tripod or hand-held. OK... it is confirmed! More practice needed. :)

Thanks bro, your shots are nice too!

I met 3 other friendly "birders" while at Bishan Park today and also got to shoot the Barbet and eagle with fish in its claws!

It must have dived for a fish while I turned my attention to the Barbet as my first few shots do not show any fish in its claws.

Another set of great shots Chris.:thumbsup:

Beautiful shots of the Barbet!
Nice catch of the eagle too!

Great shots!!! the Barbet is super sharp and clear. WBSE is also fantastic... even the fish looks great - think I see blood coming out from where the eagle's left claw grasps the fish! ok... It is practice time for me. :)
