Spent 45 minutes at Hindhede Quarry and got this, a Flycatcher (correct me if I'm wrong)

Look like a Abbott's Babbler

Wow,it's been 9 long months that I didn't do any birding. Well, I started again, today.

These are shot today at Pasir Ris Park.

Sharing some shots taken at Pasir Ris this morning; the light was pretty low and spelled trouble for my slow lens. Please pardon the low quality shots, haha.

And it rained BUT what a surprise, the rain brought in lots of birds (Grey Herons, Black-crowned Night Herons, Little Herons, Striated Herons, SBKF and WCKF). The birds filled their stomachs with lots of fish.

Thanks guys, it's a good start to my 9 months absence here. Never thought I would see so many herons !

Just now, I parked my car at the top deck of a mscp and saw a pair of pygmy woodpeckers on a nearby tree, went back to my car to set up my cam and got this.

Didn't know they build mscp on a tree ...........hehe​
