Ya, I was in squatting position when i saw it, can't even stand up to shoot as it will surely fly away. Got 2 shots only, haha.

Yes, they are all are handheld. Not that I have muscles (I've a big pot belly, lol), it's the Sigma OS, really very good!

I use Nikon D90 for birding.

Yes, because in birding, the longer the focal length the merrier; to get a bigger subject and more subject isolation.

Went to Bishan Park today to look for this Coppersmith Barbet, I think this birdy is actually a 2 month old baby that is flying around its nest.
(saw a pair Blue Tail Bee Eater, but both flew away when I approached them, so sad)
