Hi to all, here are points which we discussed on 13 March 2012 ...

Updates:

1. Confirmed sponsors - Shriro and Nikon; still got space for 2 or 3 more
2. 8SQ - may be getting another room, i.e. Moving Gallery (sits up to 60 pax); TBC on Thursday, 15 March
3. Programmes space of talks - Chapel - 150, usual room @ 8SQ - 80, Moving Gallery - 60 (TBC)

Dinner invites:

1. Speakers - 15 pax
2. Sponsors (2 invites per sponsor) - 10 pax
3. SAM Director and AD - 2 pax
4. Brands - (Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, Panasonic, Samsung, Leica, Pentax and Sony) - 2 per brand - total 18 pax
5. GOH - Tan Chuan Jin - 1 pax
6. Crossing Bridges - 8 pax
   1. Eddy OIC for CB guests
   2. Air fare - $200 per pax
   3. Lodging - $100 per pax (get them to share room)
   4. Total budget - $2400
7. Moderators - 20 pax
8. Public - 40 pax
9. Band - 5 pax
10. Total - 119

Dinner programme:

1. Edward - Emcee
2. Caterer - Purple Sage (DM is OIC)
3. Cocktail tables (10) - PE
4. Cake - 3D camera cake (5kg)

Programme:

1. Publicity - Alex or Ortega
   1. SAM needs: Title of talks, Sypnosis of talks, name of speakers and CV
   2. Programme sheet at entrances
   3. Publish sponsors on programme sheet, i.e. Shriro, Nikon and SAM (so far)

Logistics:

1. 1 carton of mineral water per location, per day
2. Manpower:
   1. OIC - AG
   2. 2 rooms
   3. 2 shifts, i.e. 1000-1400, 1400-1800
   4. 4 helpers per shift per day - total 16
   5. Helpers will get meals ($8 per pax) + tee
3. Provide support for the 40 who paid for dinner - advance booking for 2 talks
4. Ad in newspapers (KIV)
5. Invites should be out latest by 23 March 2012

Tee:

1. OIC - Peterpan
2. Design - Unisex
3. Sizes - S, M, L, XL (quantity to check with DM)
4. Sale of tee - COD
5. Only mods will handle cash sale - site @ SAM

I remember we are only sponsoring Airfares? and Per country 1 representative?

Anyway, difficult to get rooms at $100 per night.

i have invited ONE rep from each of the following online forums from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines

that will be 4 pax representing Crossing Bridges from these countries

i have offered them 1 budget airline ticket and ONE night budget hotel (Twin Sharing) eg Hotel81 or Fragrance Hotel

I have also offered Mr Guan Kee a DINNER SLOT as a fellow VIP ..... he will be putting up his old cameras for display

Hotel 81 or Fragrance Hotel in Joo Chiat is OK .... i believe these are below $100 a night twin sharing

or if they are OK with all cramming into ONE room ...... can book MBS (below $300 junket rate i can get) they can all squeeze in

Do you need the letter to be sent out to Mr. Kee? I have made some cosmetic changes to the letter, awaiting PE's approval. Will arrange for one of them to be forwarded to you.
