I see a number of James Cameron titles on your list: Aliens, Abyss, T2, True Lies.

Yup, quite like James Cameron's movies i guess. It's a shame he hasn't done any major shows after Titanic.

Actually, i kinda liked Titanic. :embrass: in spite of its soppy lovestory. Only watched it once though.

Must try and watch Piranha 2. That apparently was Cameron's directorial debut.

Haha...it seems James Cameron is a kind of "Super Second" director. His sequels to Alien and Terminator turns out to be better than the original episode.

The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption - my all-time favourite movies which touches the human spirit. reminds you of what movies are all about - telling great stories!

Money No Enough/That One No Enough (Jack Neo movies) - can watch over and over again when overseas when i miss home!

;) So hopefully, Piranha 2 is better than the first one. ha ha

!

I believe it is worth repeating that these two great movies both came from one very unlikely author -- the King of Horror, Stephen King.

just 3 films is difficult....

- Die Hard series (things have to happen on christmas eve hur?Yippee-Ai-Aee)
- Indiana Jones series (enjoyable rollercoaster ride)
- Terminator series (man lost the war to the machines... that's why we have the Matrix)
- Star Wars series esp 4,5 & 6 (inspired me to make my own lightsaber from my AA torchlight!)
- Transformers Movie (the cartoon one)
- Dead Poet Society (really inspirational)
- Saving Private Ryan (caught once in theatre in US. made me wonder if any of the audiences' father were on that beach that day....i could feel the mood in the theatre was different from the one in Singapore....)
- Shawshank Redemption (love Tim Robbins in there)
- Cinema Paradiso (the classic)
- Children of Heaven (simple story but very well told)
- Pulp Fiction (iconic dialogue)
- LOTR series (i even once dream i was one among the fellowship fighting beside Gandalf! Very tired the next morning... felt i have climb Mt Doom)
- Matrix 1 (2 & 3 are bending the story logic too much)
- Brokeback Mountain (Fantastic directing, editing, acting - wonder if there is a director's cut to this??)
- Stephen Chow classics (Fight back to school, god of gamblers...etc)
- Huang Feihong franchise (but those with Jet lee are better)
- Wong Kar Wai & Chris Doyle stuff (Chungking express, Happy together, in the mood for love...)

Terminator 2
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill 1

and more ...
Natural Born Killers
Menace To Society
Dead Presidents

list goes on ...
