3 movies you watched 3 times or more.

just 3 films is difficult....

- Die Hard series (things have to happen on christmas eve hur?Yippee-Ai-Aee)
- Indiana Jones series (enjoyable rollercoaster ride)
- Terminator series (man lost the war to the machines... that's why we have the Matrix)
- Star Wars series esp 4,5 & 6 (inspired me to make my own lightsaber from my AA torchlight!)
- Transformers Movie (the cartoon one)
- Dead Poet Society (really inspirational)
- Saving Private Ryan (caught once in theatre in US. made me wonder if any of the audiences' father were on that beach that day....i could feel the mood in the theatre was different from the one in Singapore....)
- Shawshank Redemption (love Tim Robbins in there)
- Cinema Paradiso (the classic)
- Children of Heaven (simple story but very well told)
- Pulp Fiction (iconic dialogue)
- LOTR series (i even once dream i was one among the fellowship fighting beside Gandalf! Very tired the next morning... felt i have climb Mt Doom)
- Matrix 1 (2 & 3 are bending the story logic too much)
- Brokeback Mountain (Fantastic directing, editing, acting - wonder if there is a director's cut to this??)
- Stephen Chow classics (Fight back to school, god of gamblers...etc)
- Huang Feihong franchise (but those with Jet lee are better)
- Wong Kar Wai & Chris Doyle stuff (Chungking express, Happy together, in the mood for love...)

Are you sure you watched all of these movies 3 times or more?

:-) I don't know, they just happened to be violent. I like them more for the story and pace. And aside from Terminator or even Kill Bill, I like gritty movies which border on reality. I like all of Tarantino's movies, he is a master at weaving great dialogue into his screenplay. The Hughes brothers are good, now looking for their documentary "American Pimp".

Same with the Coen brothers, just watched their masterpiece "No Country For Old Men", will watch it again one day when time permits. To just choose 3 movies is tough, for a movie lover.

I do watch cartoons many times when I am with my kid who watches shows several times and never tires of them. Nobody beats kids for repetitive watching :-).

Hey, how can a gentle fellow like you love such violent movies? ;)

Hahah..juz kidding! Thanks for your participation on this thread. :D

Are you sure you watched all of these movies 3 times or more?

its not difficult considering some of them were from childhood days e.g. starwars and transformers. And stephen chow stuff do get replay on TV a billion times. but the more recent stuff are on big screen, then DVDs. Ie, they were watched over many years. I am quite sure many people are the same .. no?

but there are movies that i don't want to watch again. e.g. farewell to my concubine

Vita è bella, La (also known as Life is beautiful) x 4

Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy x 3

Eh.. Why nobody mention Stephen Chow movies ah???
They replay so much on ch8 i lost count le.. each time got broadcast i sure watch. Never fails to tickle.

I would recommend this film to anyone who is depressed, or think he/she is depressed. It will surely make you look at life quite differently
