I very recently bought a 28/2 ZF and it also has purple fringing issues with some photos at 2.8 and even 5.6!
I suppose that this has to be accepted as normal for this product.

I must say its pretty well corrected though.

ZF gives more sharpness to enlarge further and fringing becomes obvious. Other "apos" can't match sharpness & enlarge. Less fringing issues.

The lenses you have are not available in ZE yet. I only see 21/2.8, 50/1.4 and 85/1.4.

Walao! Even my S$6,000 Nikkor 58mm f1.2 NOCT has PF at wide open.

Don't worry lah. PF won't kill you. If PF really bothers you, convert your images to monochrome lor.

The Nikon D3, D700, D300 and D90 have automatic correction of lateral chromatic color fringes.

I am a Fujifilm DSLR user and I am not familiar with the later Nikon DSLRs. So I can't help you here.

Thanx...The techies at Nikon didn't know how to do it either...all they recommended was post processing adjustments...so WYSIWYG with PF...
